Big.. Heavy.. and totally Vicious down to every last wire.. piston.. vent.. and screw.. This is the result of OVER! 100 hours of work lineart..inking..photoshopping.. and compileing into this product.

And it was worth it ^_^
Presenting Axel Gear in the glory that I had always imagined him to be! Please give me a little support if you will and show any fans of the game this.. It would be an honour to get some feedback from all the rocket knight fans out there. :3

I haven't seen you around in so long.
This is awesome work. It's quite amazing how much detail you put in.
That smoke effect.... thing.. behind him is really cool with the picture.. It really caught my eye.

awesomely detailed design... the weapon is quite nice too, and the tail, I like the design of that.

Hmmm. It's like Axel Gear hopped into the Warhammer 40K universe and devoted himself to Khorne. I can see that you put a lot of work into it, but it seems overdone in some ways. Simpler can be better.

SERIOUSLY!!!!! I got so excited to see this, great, great work... I have such classic memories with this game, and I remember Axel Gear clear as day. I love your take on this, and I firmly believe this game deserves either a next-gen makeover or a next-gen sequel. Maybe someday, eh? Nonetheless... Amazing work. Thanks for this! :]

You know, there really is a point at which a fan depiction of a character no longer resembles that character in any way, shapre or form and frankly, this passed that point long ago...

I look at this and my immediate reaction, indeed my only reaction, "This is Axel Gear!? You've got to be kidding me..."

As good a picture as this is, you can't just draw some huge orange and purple mech with a jetpack and a tail and call it Axel Gear... A progression from something more recogniseable to this would have been nice...

I guess what I'm saying is that this picture pushes the limits of "willing suspension of disbelief" WAY too far... It feels like I'm looking at an Imperial Star Destroyer labeled "USS Enterprise"...

Sorry mate, but as good a picture as this is, I don't buy it...
